Our Program
The Infinite Group provides excellent career preparation and career development courses, helping students and young professionals to develop the personal and leadership skills they need to make a difference in their lives and in the world.
In our Civic Leadership Development Training, students learn about Civic Leadership qualities and how to break through stigmas. We treat, among other things, the seven core 21st century skills and five spheres of Social Emotional Learning.

Our Commitment
The program introduces students to key skills and qualities that can prepare them for a more effective future, where empathy and other qualities are needed to ensure a higher level of engagement and motivation. The students learn to master these skills and develop the qualities through effective practical activities and exercises. Finally, in the last part of the program, we actually put what we have learned in the first two modules into practice.

Training Modules: 3 Levels
01
STARTER
Fundamental Skills, and Qualities
The Program begins by defining the key characteristics of a good leader. This will provide an introduction to the different types of social leadership positions and functions.
A wide range of skills are covered that are relevant to a contemporary civic leader in today's world of globalized and integrated economics. Students make these their own through practical activities.
02
INTERMEDIATE
​Art of Debate and Dialogue
In this part of the program, we focus on effective skills in meaningful dialogue and discussions such as debate, facilitation, storytelling, lobbying, etc.

Students learn the art of communicating effectively in different types of contexts: academic, social, emotional, traumatic, and stressful, while staying focused, calm, and balanced.
We practice being an impartial facilitator and having difficult conversations. Promoting a better understanding between different individuals or parties; social, cultural, political, ethnic and religious is the starting point.
03
ADVANCED
Social Enterprises and Community Initiatives
This part of the program is practical. By focusing on developing a Social Enterprise or a Community Initiative, the students put into practice what they have learned from the previous courses.
The Social Enterprise Activities course provides students with the necessary theoretical and practical skills needed to be active in a social enterprise.

Through the community initiative specialization course, students can choose an area of interest in which they develop an idea for a community initiative in a concept note.
In both, the ideas should be community oriented, and students should work in teams (4 students on average).

Course 1, Starter Level

Fundamental Skills and Qualities
The Program begins with the Starter Module. In the program we combine theoretical knowledge with practical activities. The first module provides an introduction to civic leadership and the skills and qualities that define a good leader.
The course begins by defining the key characteristics of a good leader. This will introduce the students to the different types of civic leadership positions and functions. Together we will explore some specific examples of civic leaders from the past and present through mini case studies. A wide range of skills are covered that are relevant to a contemporary civic leader in today's world of globalised and integrated economics. Students make these skills their own through practical activities.
Furthermore, considerable attention is paid to the basis of effective communication, social media, time management, soft skills, and self-confidence.
Method
This module consists of an intake and two separate training days. Each group consist of a maximum of 10 participants.
Intake
An online intake takes place prior to the training. You can also choose to explain your intake by telephone. Based on the intake, we will assign you to a training group with a corresponding background, learning objectives and points for attention.

Course Outline

LEARNING AREAS
A training day contains methods that serve all levels of learning: meaning, emotional, cognitive, and physical.
The training program is characterized by inspiring introductions, which are followed by theoretical insights and practical assignments. Plenary sessions alternate with working out assignments in subgroups.
The training program is set up in such a way that you learn with and from each other.
